Cold salt-water hydrotherapy supports equine recovery and conditioning using a natural, medication-free approach. Cold immersion triggers rapid vasoconstriction followed by increased circulatory rebound, helping reduce edema and thermal inflammation in the lower limbs surrounding training, competition, or transport. Epsom salt enhances osmotic exchange, further moderating inflammatory response and supporting accelerated tissue recovery.
For performance horses, improved limb mobility and reduced fluid pooling can aid in maintaining consistency throughout heavy workloads. For rehabilitation cases, increased circulation and controlled inflammation create an environment that supports more efficient tissue repair.
