About Us

The Salty Mare Equine Mobile Recovery Spa was founded out of a deep love for horses and a lifelong commitment to their care and well-being. We are a woman-owned business rooted in horsemanship, science, and service.

Our founder is a competitive driver and a proud member of the United States Equestrian Federation Developing Drivers Program. In 2024, she was named the USEF U25 Intermediate Driver of the Year, and her pony SF Spice Girl, who proudly serves as the spa’s biggest fan, was honored as the 2024 Intermediate Single Pony Reserve Champion Horse of the Year. She is currently preparing to apply to veterinary school to further her mission of advancing equine health through both hands-on care and education.

We believe in giving back to the community that raised us. That’s why The Salty Mare also proudly supports young riders and grassroots equestrians, offering access to recovery tools and wellness education typically reserved for top-level athletes.

We are based in Florida and also operate in Southern California. In the winter, we follow the competition season in Florida, bringing spa-quality recovery treatments directly to barns and shows across both coasts. In the summer time, we follow show circuits on the east coast.
